You might be wondering, “What’s this Blue Screen of Death all about?” Essentially, it’s a stop error screen displayed on Windows computers after a fatal system error. This kind of error forces your computer to stop functioning to prevent damage to your hardware or data.
How to Resolve the CrowdStrike Issue: the Raiday’s workaround
If you’re caught in this mess, here’s a straightforward fix: navigate to the C:\Windows\System32
directory and rename the CrowdStrike folder to CrowdStrike.bak
. This simple action has helped many users break free from the continuous error loop caused by the recent update.
Step by Step procedure to get you back up:
First thing is to enter the recovery mode of your windows laptop from the Troubleshoot.
Step 1: Click on the Windows icon and then click the Power icon in the prompted menu.
Step 2: When you tap on the Restart option, press and hold the Shift key.
Step 3: Then you will enter the Windows Recovery Environment. Access Win RE tools by selecting Troubleshoot > Advanced Options.
Step 5: After that do not go for safe mode as this may not solve the issue, you want to access the Command Prompt for resolution. If you have Windows BitLocker (Windows encryption technology that protects your data from unauthorized access) please enter your very long key to access the command prompt.
Step 6: Then you want to move from drive X: to drive C: and rename the CrowdStrike antivirus folder to solve the CrowdStrike Issue:

rename CrowdStrike CrowdStrike.bak
Step 7: finally we then had to reboot the laptop three times and it came back up working:
